How accurate is the measurement?
Van Level uses your iPhone's built-in motion sensors, which can resolve fractions of a degree. For best results, run the one-tap zero calibration on a surface you know is level — it cancels out your phone case and any unevenness in the vehicle floor.
Does it work offline?
Yes, completely. Van Level needs no internet connection, no account and no sign-in. Every feature works hundreds of kilometres from the nearest tower, exactly where you need it.
Which vehicles does it support?
Everything from a small van conversion to a full-size motorhome. Pick a built-in preset (kei van, van, minivan, SUV, motorhome) or enter your own wheelbase and track width, and save as many custom vehicles as you like.
How does the ramp calculation work?
After measuring, the app converts the tilt into centimetres of lift for each wheel using your vehicle's dimensions. If you use stepped levelling blocks, enter the step height and Van Level shows which step to drive onto.
