This Privacy Policy explains how SwellBearing handles your information. Short version: SwellBearing does not collect any user information.

SwellBearing does not collect, store or transmit any data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no account sign-in, and no network connection. Location, when enabled in Settings, is used only on-device to add position to your spot records, and is never sent anywhere. Compass bearing, period calculation, and height measurement all work without location—location is optional only if you want to tag a spot with its GPS position. Motion sensor data (tilt angle for height) is processed on-device only and never sent anywhere. The app is safe for children.
