SurfaceCast: Surface TempPrivacy Policy
SurfaceCast is designed to keep your data on your device. We built it so that using the app tells us nothing about you.
We do not collect any data. Your saved surface sets, preferences and history stay on your device and are never sent to us. To fetch a forecast, the app sends the coordinates of the place you are looking at to the weather service Open-Meteo, rounded to about a kilometre; those coordinates are not stored by us, not linked to you, and not used for anything except returning that forecast. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
