Star Index does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising. Your location is used only on your device to calculate the local sky forecast, and is sent anonymously (with no identifying information) to the Open-Meteo weather service to retrieve cloud, humidity, and wind data. Nothing is stored on our servers, and nothing is shared with third parties.
