Privacy Sound is built around a simple promise: it protects the privacy of your conversations without ever listening to them. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with data.

What we collect

Nothing personal. Privacy Sound does not create an account and does not collect your name, email or contacts. The microphone is used solely to measure the ambient volume level of the room in real time so the masking sound can auto-adjust. This measurement is a momentary loudness value used on-device only.

No recording or transmission

Your conversations are never recorded, analyzed, saved as audio, or transmitted to us or any third party. Volume readings are processed instantly on your device and are not stored. Your settings, presets and favorites are kept only on your iPhone.

Third parties & tracking

Privacy Sound contains no advertising SDKs and no analytics that track you across apps or websites. We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any to begin with.

Children's privacy

The app is safe for all ages. Because it collects no personal information, it does not knowingly gather data from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
