FAQ

How accurate is the airtime measurement?

OllieMeter uses motion sensor data to estimate airtime and is clearly labeled in the app. Values are estimates verified against real jump footage, with measurement accuracy verified at ±10%. OllieMeter does not identify trick types, measure rotation, or estimate height — only airtime.

Do I need GPS or location permission to measure airtime?

No. Airtime detection uses only motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) and works perfectly without location permission. Location is only used if you turn on track recording to map your line and measure speed and distance. You can change this anytime in Settings.

What happens to my data?

All data stays on your device. There is no account, no server communication, no data collection, and no ads. Your sessions and location history (if recorded) are stored only in the app on your iPhone.

Can I use OllieMeter without Apple Watch?

Yes. The app works completely on iPhone alone. Apple Watch is optional — measure from your wrist when you prefer not to carry your phone.
