Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Your privacy matters. Tally is built to keep your data entirely on your device. This policy explains what we do — and, more importantly, what we don't do — with your information.

Data we collect

None. Tally does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. We have no servers that receive your information, and the app requires no account or sign-up.

Where your data lives

All of your counters and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. Your data never leaves your iPhone unless you back it up yourself through your own device backups.

Third parties & tracking

Tally contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not connect to the internet and shares nothing with anyone.

Children's privacy

Tally is safe for all ages. Because we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a revised date above.

Data export (v2 feature)

Tally v2 includes CSV and PDF export. When you choose to export, the data is formatted on your device and presented to iOS's share sheet (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.). You control where it goes — we never receive a copy. The export file is created locally and deleted from your device after you share it.
