• Does the app save photos from the camera?

  No. The camera is used only to read brightness from its exposure settings. No images or video frames are saved.

• Is this an exact lux or PPFD reading?

  No. LeafLight shows effective light hours as a ratio to your plant's needs. It is not an absolute light measurement and does not diagnose plant health.

• Does it measure when the app is closed?

  No. Measurement runs only while the app is open on screen. Keep the phone beside the pot with the app running; the screen dims to save power.

• Why does the phone have to stay still?

  Any span where the phone was moved is excluded from the result, so a phone that has been carried about can't count as a sunny spot.
