FAQ
Is GaugeBook a weather forecast app?
No. GaugeBook is an actual-measurement journal for people who own a rain gauge. It never uses forecasts, radar, or GPS location to estimate rainfall — you read your own gauge and enter the real number.
Can I compare this year's rainfall with previous years?
Yes. The compare view lines up the same month across every year you've logged, so you can see at a glance whether this August was wetter or drier than last August.
Can I record a day with no rain?
Yes. A one-tap "no rain" entry logs zero for the day, so dry spells are recorded just as accurately as rainy ones.
Does GaugeBook work in inches as well as millimeters?
Yes. You can switch between millimeters and inches at any time in Settings.
Is GaugeBook a subscription?
No. GaugeBook is a one-time purchase. Pay once and log your rainfall for years, with no ads and no recurring fees.
