Do I need AR / LiDAR to use this app?
No. AR tracing is a convenience on supported devices. You can always measure by typing in width and length, and every feature — plant count, bloom preview, sharing — works fully without AR.
Is the plant count guaranteed to be exact?
No. The count is an estimate based on a staggered planting pattern and the spacing you choose. Actual needs vary with plant health, soil, and how you plant, so treat it as a shopping guide, not a guarantee.
Is the area measurement a precise survey?
No. AR measurement is based on your device's motion sensors and camera and is meant to replace a tape measure for planning, not a professional survey. For critical projects, verify with a proper measurement.
Does it calculate soil or material costs?
No. FlowerBedPlan only estimates plant counts and shows a bloom preview. It does not calculate soil amendment, mulch, or other material costs.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. FlowerBedPlan has no account sign-in, no analytics, and no network connection. Your beds, measurements, and photos stay only on your device.
Can I mix multiple flower types in one bed?
Yes. Choose several flowers and adjust the ratio between them, and the bloom preview updates to show the mixed planting.
