Does CutPlan account for the saw blade width?
Yes. Set the saw kerf (blade thickness) in your project and every cut position and stock count includes the material each cut removes, so the plan matches what actually happens at the saw.
Can it optimize both boards and sheet goods?
Yes. Linear (1D) mode handles anything you cut to length — studs, dowels, pipe, trim. Panel (2D) mode nests parts onto plywood, MDF, melamine and other sheets to use the fewest sheets.
Can I use several different stock lengths at once?
Yes. Enter multiple standard lengths and CutPlan works out the combination that produces the least offcut, then tells you how many of each length to buy and where to cut.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Completely. CutPlan runs entirely on your device with no account, no ads and no data collection. Your projects never leave your iPhone or iPad.
