Do I need to scan the label to add a bottle?
No. CellarTab is a plain typed inventory: name, region, vintage, quantity and purchase date. You can add a photo if you like, but there is no label scanning or database lookup.
How do I record that I opened a bottle?
Tap once on the bottle and the count goes down by one. No need to re-enter anything.
How do I know what I'm about to run out of?
When a wine reaches its last bottle, it moves to the top of the list with a reminder, so it is always visible instead of buried in the rack.
Does CellarTab need an internet connection?
No. Everything runs and stays on your device. There is no account and no data leaves your phone.
