Are the calculations exact?
No. Wood movement varies by species, grain, moisture, adhesive, and process. BendStack provides a planning estimate; always make a test bend before using valuable stock.
How is the layer count calculated?
BendStack divides finished thickness by lamella thickness and rounds up, then shows the actual stack thickness produced by that count.
What does measured springback do?
Record the form radius and released radius for a species. BendStack uses that workshop history as a more relevant starting point for later projects.
What does BendStack Pro unlock?
